Welcome to ScanCraft ("App"). By downloading, installing, or using our App, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using ScanCraft, you confirm that you:

Are at least 13 years of age (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction)
Have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms
Agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations

2. Description of Service

ScanCraft provides tools to help you:

Scan QR codes and barcodes using your device's camera
Generate custom QR codes with various content types (URL, text, Wi-Fi, contact, etc.)
Customize QR code appearance with colors, styles, and templates
Save and manage your scan history and created codes
Export and share generated QR codes

All processing is performed locally on your device.

3. User Responsibilities

⚠️ Important: You are solely responsible for the content encoded in QR codes you create and distribute. Do not use ScanCraft to create QR codes that link to malicious, illegal, or harmful content.

You agree to:

Use the App only for lawful purposes
Not create QR codes containing malicious links, malware, or phishing content
Not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the App
Not use the App to infringe on the rights of others

4. Subscriptions and Payments

Free Features: Basic QR code scanning and limited code generation features are available for free.

ScanCraft Pro Subscription: Additional features require a paid subscription:

Weekly Plan: Auto-renewing subscription billed weekly after a 3-day free trial
Lifetime Plan: One-time purchase for permanent access to all features

Payment Processing: All payments are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not have access to your payment information.

Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

Refunds: Refund requests must be submitted through Apple. We cannot process refunds directly.

5. Free Trial

The weekly subscription includes a 3-day free trial. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, you will be automatically charged for the first billing period. You may only use one free trial per Apple ID.

6. Intellectual Property

ScanCraft, including its design, code, graphics, and content, is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not:

Copy, modify, or distribute the App
Use our trademarks without written permission
Create derivative works based on the App

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE APP WILL BE ERROR-FREE, UNINTERRUPTED, OR MEET YOUR SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS.

We make no warranties regarding:

The accuracy of QR code scanning or barcode recognition
The scannability of generated QR codes by all devices and readers
Compatibility with all device models or iOS versions

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for:

Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
Loss of data or created QR codes
Any damages arising from your use of or inability to use the App
Actions taken based on scanned QR code content from third parties

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for ScanCraft in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your violation of these Terms or misuse of the App.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without notice, for conduct that violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or our business interests.

11. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of ScanCraft after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles.

13. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or the App shall first be attempted to be resolved through informal negotiation. If resolution cannot be reached, disputes shall be submitted to the courts of India.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
