We believe in minimal data collection. ScanCraft:

• Does NOT upload your scanned QR codes or barcodes to any server
• Does NOT collect your personal information, contacts, or browsing history
• Does NOT share any data with third parties for advertising
• Does NOT track the content of QR codes you create or scan

2. On-Device Processing

All QR code generation, barcode scanning, and code recognition are performed entirely on your device. The content of the codes you scan or create never leaves your phone.

3. Camera Access

We request access to your device's camera solely to:

• Scan QR codes and barcodes in real time
• Detect codes from the camera viewfinder

Camera data is processed in real time and is not recorded, stored, or transmitted.

4. Photo Library Access

We may request access to your Photo Library solely to:

• Save generated QR code images to your device
• Scan QR codes from existing images in your gallery

We do not browse, analyze, or upload your photos beyond the specific images you choose to scan.

5. Scan History

Your scan history is stored locally on your device only. You can delete your history at any time from the app's settings. This data is never synced to any cloud service or external server.

6. Subscription & Purchase Data

If you subscribe to ScanCraft Pro:

• Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store
• We receive anonymous transaction confirmations from Apple
• We do not have access to your payment details, credit card information, or Apple ID

7. Analytics

We may collect anonymous, aggregated analytics (such as app crash reports and general usage statistics) to improve app stability and features. This data:

• Cannot identify individual users
• Does not include any scanned code content or created QR data
• Is used solely to improve app performance

8. Data Security

Since your data stays on your device, you maintain full control. We recommend:

• Keeping your device passcode enabled
• Using Face ID or Touch ID for additional security
• Regularly backing up your device via iCloud or computer

9. Children's Privacy

ScanCraft is rated 4+ and does not knowingly collect any information from children under 13. The app does not require account creation or personal information submission.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date.
